Book a community noticeboard
There are eight community noticeboards around Upper Hutt to promote community notices and events. We currently have six wooden community noticeboards in various locations and two digital noticeboards located on Gibbons St and in Silverstream on Fergusson Drive.
There is no cost to book any of the noticeboards, just your own design and print costs if required.
Conditions
To ensure safety and legibility, we ask that you please adhere to the following conditions.
Wooden Noticeboard
Your design
- Wooden Noticeboards are for community notices and events happening within Upper Hutt
- Minimum 160mm height for all text (excluding logos)
- Maximum of 40 characters or 8 words
- Maximum 2m wide and 1.4m tall
- Designs must be approved by Upper Hutt City Council before use
Installation
- The signs must be stapled onto the signboards and no other structure may be attached to the signboards.
- The signs must be erected on the booked date and dismantled on the booked date and is the responsibility of the person making the booking.

Digital Noticeboard
Your design
- Digital Noticeboard is for community notices and events happening within Upper Hutt
- Digital specifications are 384 pixels (W) x 240 pixels (H), 72ppi
- Minimum 24 pixels for all text (excluding logos)
- Maximum of 40 characters or 8 words
- Designs must be approved by Upper Hutt City Council before use
Installation
- Artwork must be submitted when booking the billboard
- The signs will be uploaded on the booked date and dismantled on the booked date
