California Park
California Park is one of Upper Hutt’s larger neighbourhood parks.
California Park is home to a playground, tennis rebound wall, the Wellington Fault crush zone, bush areas, the Upper Hutt Municipal Brass Band club rooms, and lots of wide open space. Connecting to the Hutt River Trail and nearby Harcourt and Te Haukaretu Parks it's the perfect destination for everything from yoga in the park to the start of a day long adventure outdoors!
Playground
The playground has opportunities to climb, play, swing, slide, and jump.
Wellington Fault Crush Zone
The Wellington Fault crush zone runs through California Park, it is signposted and visible through depressions in the land.
Tennis Rebound Wall
Bring your racket and practice your swing at the tennis rebound wall.
Walking Trails
Several walking tracks run through California Park making it easy to travel between several streets within Totara Park. You can walk through California Park and over the Norbert Street footbridge to link in with the Hutt River Trail, meet up with friends at Harcourt Park, or feed the ducks at nearby Te Haukaretu Park.
Upper Hutt Municipal Brass Band Club Rooms
