Wellington Regional Waste Management and Minimisation Plan 2023-2029

All eight of the Councils across the Wellington region have worked together to produce the Wellington Region Waste Management and Minimisation Plan 2023-2029. 

The plan sets out what we intend to do over the next 6 years to make sure we manage our waste as best we can, for the benefit of our communities, our local economies, and the environment.
