Surveying the users of Upper Hutt parks

Researcher asking two people questions

This month we’ll be asking people at our parks to complete a short survey. We’re keen to understand how important and how satisfied our community is with what we provide.

The information we gather will be used to plan improvements and to help us measure the expectation of what’s provided.

The survey will run from 5 to 30 January and will be conducted by researchers wearing council branded apparel. It will take approximately 3 to 5 minutes to complete, and we won’t ask for any personal details.

The parks that we have chosen for survey site are:

  • Maidstone Park
  • Trentham Memorial Park
  • Harcourt Park
  • Ngati Tama Park
  • Silverstream Park
  • California Park
  • Timberlea Park
  • Pinehaven Reserve
  • Te Haukaretu Park
  • Wallaceville Reserve
  • Grants Bush
  • Ward Miro Green Area
  • Riverbank Park
  • River Walkway
  • Tawai Park
  • Heretaunga Park

Our researchers will adhere to Market Research Association Code of conduct and will have a contact card if you wish to verify that they are a legitimate researcher working for council.

If you have any questions, please contact us by email at askus@uhcc.govt.nz or by phone on 04 527 2169. Our office reopen on 5 January.
