Super Gold Card

The gold card is a discounts and concessions card for seniors and veterans, in recognition of the contribution to New Zealand society. It offers discounts from a range of businesses, government concessions (including free off-peak public transport), and discounted services from your local council.

60s up groups

Upper Hutt is a branch of the National 60s Up Movement, with a total of five groups in the local area. Groups include; Brown Owl, Maidstone, Moonshine, Silverstream, and central Upper Hutt.

Remutaka Lions Club

The Remutaka Lions Club is a gender inclusive club with members ranging from 40-75 years of age. They meet on the first and third Monday of every month from 6 pm at the King Lion Hall. For more details visit lionsclubs.org.nz

Age Concern is a charitable organisation dedicated solely to people over 65. They promote dignity, wellbeing, equality, and respect, and provide expert information and support services in response to older peoples needs. Senior Net

Senior Net is an organisation based in Upper Hutt that supports and assists people 50+ to use a computer and other forms of technology. They meet every Tuesday at the Upper Hutt Central Library from 1.30-3pm.
