Caring for our community

Helping others with food and essentials

There are many ways to support each other:

  • Do a grocery shop
  • Leave some hot meals on their doorstep
  • Swap numbers with a neighbour so you can help each other out

We want our community to stay connected during this time. A connected city is a resilient city.

If you have any questions or need help, information or advice about COVID-19, self-isolation and more, you can call the national health line on 0800 358 5453.

Our local Community Connectors are also here to support people who are isolating because of COVID-19, or are in need of support like food and shelter.
