Community Kōrero

Our Community Kōrero are a way for you to share your views and thoughts with Council by joining group community meetings. 

We’re encouraging anyone who is interested to put forward their name. If you register your interest, we will put you on the list and your name could be drawn out to take part in upcoming meetings throughout Upper Hutt.

We’ll look to bring together a groups of residents from right across the city with wide-ranging views, interests and passions to share. 

We’re collecting a list of interested people now, and will contact you if you’re selected to meet in the coming months.

A bit more information on what you can expect:

  • We aim to meet quarterly, in-person, in groups of 10-20 people for 1-2 hours.
  • Feedback from you helps identify priorities for the city and ways we can improve as a Council.
  • You’re welcome to raise any topics which are important to you and we’ll also be seeking feedback from you on specific topics like the upcoming Long Term Plan.
